"People, people, people are just people, people, people."

The brilliant Dr. Brené Brown said this in her book, Dare to Lead.

Whether you're a therapist, an EdTech company, a website designer, a mental health organization, a hairstylist, a business coach, a boudoir photographer, or a large nonprofit…

…You’re serving people.

Here's why this matters:

People buy from brands that make them feel seen, heard, and valued.

This whole copy thing? This isn’t about me. And it’s not even about you.

It’s about us connecting to your audience in a personable, relatable, we-really-get-you way.

Your work matters.

I mean it.

You believe in the work you’re doing, and the impact it makes on the people you serve.

But beyond the actual thing you do that brings in money, you believe deeply in the bigger vision for your company and what you’re creating for your own family. THAT’S what fuels your early morning work sessions and pump-up speeches you give yourself when you’re ready to burn it all down and just get a “real” job.

I believe in my work because I’ve seen it work.

Whether it’s an email funnel that brings in an extra $2k a month of passive income, website copy that lands the most ideal client (and makes the prospect teary reading my clients’ updated messaging), or even a GoFundMe page that raises $31k for a needy family, clear and relatable messaging is deeply effective.

I learned from the best so I can help your brand be its best.

I’m a people person. Yes, there’s a science and art behind copy that converts but at the heart of my job, I’m a writer, a teacher, and a connector of good people.

My experience and approach allow me to help financial coaches, therapists, EdTech companies, interior designers, and other people-driven companies bring their (very big) ideas to life with messaging that matches the right people — in a real and personable way.

Quick disclaimer: This website may make me look fancy pants, but outside of these photos, I’m a regular mom who employs her best marketing strategies to convince our little kids to eat broccoli and go to sleep on time.

Whatever your big idea is, I’m here to help you bring it to life.

Client Testimonials

“Corrie was great at taking the long, disorganized, chaotic thoughts in my head that make me creatively magical, and turn them into succinct nugget-style pieces of communication so my audience buys into my creative magic.”

Molly Rose Photo,
Interior Design + Architecture Photographer

"Being able to see what I want to express in writing is incredibly moving since it's felt impossible to do it on my own. I'm so thankful for your ability to truly allow my voice to be heard through the copy. Thank you, thank you!"

Leslie Slemmons, LCSW,
Founder of Peace by Piece Therapy

“Now I can delegate marketing content to others. The content Corrie developed is in itself the inspiration for future content. She definitely over-delivers.”

Erin Morris, Principal,
Erin Morris Architects

"Corrie does the mental heavy lifting that pretty much no one wants to do: She takes hours and hours to gather my thoughts, my data points, my results. Then she took that insane amount of information and -- here's the hard part -- transformed it into beautiful, compelling, highly intuitive web and email copy that I know will not be like anyone else's."

Sometimes the best way to get to know someone is to hear them chat, unscripted. Search your junk drawer or your son’s backpack for your missing AirPods and tune into a few of the podcasts I’ve been on.

My life sans laptop

  • I think a person’s ‘favorite books’ list speaks volumes. Here are mine: Brené Brown’s Daring Greatly, Bryan Stevenson’s Just Mercy, Mary Oliver’s Devotions, and Seth Godin’s This is Marketing.

  • I lived in the Dominican Republic for a summer and studied Spanish by candlelight. (It’s a great story!)

  • I’m a former high school English teacher and Department Chair, which means efficiency and empathy are hard-wired in me.

  • I have an unhealthy obsession with the 49ers, a gift passed to me from my dad, along with his big heart for people.

  • I believe everyone has a really great story to tell. Yes, you. Especially you.

If you’re reading this far, you and I should connect.

Yep, I’m a read-all-the-way-down-the-page, tell-me-every-detail kind of person. It’s the listener and learner in me. Let’s keep talking — because that’s the heart behind any good company, right? Real conversations with aligned people.

It might be helpful for you to know that I’m obsessed with Ted Lasso. His relentless belief in the good in people is one I try to live by. So if you’re not sure if someone else can really, truly capture your voice and help you walk into a room or show up on a sales call with confidence, then let me prove it to you. Fill out the form and let’s continue the conversation over Zoom and email.
